If you decide to cancel, refund amount will depend on my progress with your piece. If I have not yet started you will receive a full refund minus payment processing fees. If I am halfway through, you will receive 50%, etc.

My turnaround time is usually 1-3 weeks. Never any longer than a month. If you need it by a deadline, please make this clear when ordering.

If just a digital file is ordered, I usually work in 4000x5000 pixels. If you need a specific size please specify this.

For animal portraits, I require at least one photograph of your pet - the more the better! Please make sure these are clear and in natural lighting if possible. The better quality photographs you provide the more accurate the portrait will be.

For abstract backgrounds, you can suggest a background colour if you would like it to match your room's decor or even if you have a favourite colour and I will do my best to incorporate this into the piece. Or I can choose what I feel fits the pet best.

If you would like a specific pose please make this clear when ordering. I can recreate posing from a photo or reference, or create something entirely fresh.

My standard animal portraits are with abstract colour splash backgrounds. If you require an extra like flowers or a full background scene these will be an extra cost.

For original character illustrations, I reserve the right to add on a complexity charge for very busy designs, eg - lots of jewellery, weapons, very decorative clothing

For pet portraits from photos, I normally work through and finish the portrait in its entirety before showing the commissioner. Minor changes and colour tweaks can be added after this point. On request I can do a sketch first and get approval before moving to the painting stage.

For illustrations and scenic pieces, a sketch will be done first and approved before I commence the painting stage. Once painting has started, no radical composition changes can be made.

I reserve the right to deny a commission. I am open to painting many subjects so please enquire.

For physical prints and canvases the purchaser is responsible for all taxes and customs charges that may be due with international shipping.
